Mold inspection and testing is one thing you wouldn’t want to slack about, as mold is a common growth, that either is found both indoor and outdoor, yet it’s an undesirable development every homeowner wants to avoid at all cost. I am sure, the same applies to you. But do you know mold is always some mold everywhere you can think of? Well, the only there are good and there are bad molds.

Mold can be found in the air, on every surface, they have been in existence eons ago and they will always grow where there is moisture to sustain them. Green Mold: Mostly caused by Stachybotrys Chartarum , this type of mold is also called, “toxic black mold” well you heard that right but do not be deceived by the mention of the color black in its alias.  When left untreated and upon continual exposure can make you sick if you a=have allergies or asthma.  It can also irritate the eyes, lungs, and the skin.

Black Mold:   Scientifically is known as Stachybotrys Chartarum, is a type of mold, that’s mostly found in-door. It usually grows in humid, dark areas of the house, like other molds, it spreads through spores released into the surrounding.

One of the characteristics of the black mold is their smelling nature. If you’ve really come across one, you will notice some musty, pungent and generally an unpleasant smell around the house. If you notice a kind of smell around to check around for any mold before it grows out of control.

Black mold can also surface with visible dark spots or rings on the wall.  These are the early signs you will notice when a mold is beginning to form. Well, it may not necessarily be a mold problem, probably due to water damage or water pooling at a spot. This is a sure recipe for mold growth.

Black mold can also grow with black color variations, the variations can appear as a stain, being black, orange, brown and/or even green specks.
